Default 94 lx rear disc swap question. (ive searched)

So ive searched and I came with the answer that I can get any 94-97 accord ex, v6, or lx with abs rear disc and swap them into my accord. I know the parts I need I just need to about the brake lines. Ive read that you need to extend them and ive read that you dont. Yes ive also read the sticky about it on the accord main page. Thanks

you will need the rear spindles loaded and make sure you use the soft brake lines from the rear disc vehicle because those are different. also you will need the rear disc ebrake cables. bit of a pita if you ask me. just did this on my car.

I did not extend any brake lines for mine. I used the disc spindles loaded, ebrake cables and both disc soft lines on both sides. that's all.

Did you read the Accord FAQ?

http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...on-In-Progress

http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=10495

Because the first link very clearly says -

You can use the parts from ANY accord 90-97 that has rear discs. Including v6, they are the same too.
You need the softlines, calipers assemblies, parking brake lines, discs and pads, pad retainers, and knuckle.
Basically everything from the knuckle out, and the parking brake lines. The trailing arms are the same. The UCA appeared to be the same too

Please tell me where in either one of those thread do you need to extend the lines?

The word 'extend' is not even used on either one of the pages.

not the threads you posted but what I've searched online one Thread I read you needed to extend and the other I read you didn't have to extend that's where my original post comes in I'm not here to argue. maybe in your two threads it doesn't say I have to extend and I have read the FAQ's.

no extending anything. its a direct swap with the disc counterparts. everything will bolt into place like Honda intended.
