Default 1994 honda accord engine flooded with gas

hey everyone

I was working on my Honda Accord and for some reason the engine is flooded with fuel recently it flooded before and I just cleaned off the spark plugs in it just started up but now I'm cleaning up the spark plugs and its still flooded with fuel so how do I drain the excessive fuel in the engine?

Not sure about accords, just throwing my comment in here. In my Pontiac to deflood an engine, you start it at WOT.

Turn the key to on without starting the car. Hold the pedal down for five seconds. Then start it up.

Is this a known method that works? because i don't want to flood the engine even more. im just very cautious since this is not the first time it actually flooded. more like the third time

Fuel injected cars only flood if you have no spark. End of story.

Do whatever you want, it's your car.

Just because you have replaced the spark plugs doesnt mean you have spark, and that the spark is blue.

Normally pushing the gas pedal all the way to the floor shuts off the gas. You could try this while trying to start it but like someone said, make sure you have spark. You can get a spark tester pretty cheap.
