1999 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Engine Tires
I woke up this morning to take my mom to a PT appointment and boom front driver side tire is as flat as a ruler. The nail head of a big old sharp nail just staring at us. Anyways, been calling around to figure out what place to get the car towed to.
The Honda Accord EX-L tire size is P205/65R15 92V.
One of the places I called said they have a set of brand new Nextgen tires that they got off of a car that they took in and they would give me it to me for $300. But the only catch is its P195. They said that its ok if the size is off so long as all the tires are the same size.
Is Nextgen or Nexen? a good brand and is it worth going a lower size for the deal? Are there any concerns if I don't get the exact size per the manufacturer?
I know $300 for 4 tires with install included is an awesome price. Question is it a lemon deal or a win-win deal given the size diff and all.

If they got the tyres off of a car that they took in, then the tyres are not brand new, are they? They are selling you used tyres as new lol. The pricing is also wack for used tyres. They are pulling the wool over your eyes for sure there
IF you are going that route definitely take a look at what it is they are selling first and negotiate hard. The size difference isn't that much of an issue tbh. Nexen in a basic tyre brand, nothing special, and there are certainly better options out there.
For example, BRAND NEW tyres, in the right size, from a better manufacturer for less money per tyre (plus installation).... Can get Walmart to install it, or can call around various tyre shops (especially small independent shops) and get a reasonable rate for mounting and installation.

went with good year manufacture size. Never cared to call them back. Wanted to but wanted an easy buying experience so just dropped the deal. Read these posts too late, next time I'll keep it in mind.

I actually had the original ExtremeContact DWS on my Volvo S80 and i can vouch for this claim. Ok in the dry, but easily the best ever in the wet. Thunderstorm was like nothing for them.
Suspect they are out of the OP's price range though

I mean I might spring for them. How much are those continentals?
Regarding the Accord, its 23+ year old car, it's not practical to spend bookoo dollars if I'm not driving it that much. Just need a car now and then that is SAFE.
With installation included about $432 pretax. It was walmart. Goodyear Reliant All Seasons.

Not terrible considering. Enjoy your Goodyears for the next few years, then research and look out for sales/rebates whenever you are ready to change the tyres.

I don't even know if they make those Continentals in 15's. You'd have to look up that info yourself on the various tyre websites
