So I was in the last thread. Glad to be apart of the 3rd one lol. Well my sedan is still a work in progress. I've done some things since my last post in February. I've painted my wheels, my eBay window visors fell off, I redid my headliner, installed a winks mirror, lowered the car 2" with D2 springs and I forget the name of the struts but the setup feels great for the street use.
The next things to be done are exterior paint job, install some interior lights, interior odds and ends and I would love to get some new wheels. In the mean time I'll prolly re paint my wheels. And 100k service and clutch kit over the summer.
Front end lower

Been awhile folks. Glad to see the sedan love still flows. Hate I missed the closing of the other one but glad to be in on part three. Sedan thread has seriously been the best of the bunch. Most encouraging, helpful and brotherly of the bunch. Looking forward to closing this one too.
I will have the purple turtle on some new wheels shortly. And hoping to drop it another inch. Will also be replacing the shity after market headlights with a set of chrome OEM onei got from Brice and I think I'm finally ready to ditch the pieces together bullshit I call an exhaust as well.
The kid, the wife and the SSA have swallowed up most of my time. Glad to see you guys are still here!

How many gallons do you guise get out of a full tank? I just filled 8.7 but my Chilton manual say there is 11.9 gallon capacity.

11.9 is about right if you fill it from dead empty. Depending on what time of day you try to do that, you'll probably get 10.5-11 at the most into it.

8.7 gallons equaled 253 miles. Should I be able to hit 280 then? If I can eek out another gallon that would be cool.

I get ~380-390 freeway miles on my Y7 hatch. CEL is on too lol
If i do 85mph constantly, i only get ~340miles
I think all 96-00s have d same size tanks
I always fill between 9-10gal
9.8 is the most i had to fill up when car would sputter already lol
I usually get to the last line on the gauge to the first click off the pump handle.

Mine starts to sputter at about 310-320 with the B20 and highway driving. With the Y7 I was able to get out in to the 350s.
Just got back into LA from Indy. What a long month.

I don't think the automatic Y7 I have would get over 300. This thing starts taking its time turning over when its around 240. I also do mostly city driving averaging 27-28 mpg. I will be experimenting with this though.
Thanks for the info.

When my Civic hits 1/2 tank I'm looking for a station. I rarely get below a 1/4 just because I don't want to be stuck in traffic or something and be low on fuel. Plus being 16 yrs old...I fear what the tank has built up in the bottom.

If I baby my street-tuned k-swap ive seen around 500-510km (312-318mi) even with the EP3 5 speed tranny.
That doesn't happen often though
I'd imagine that would improve if I got a 6 speed.
