i got the block from a shop in louisiana, i paid 500$ for the block already sleeved... not sure what it costs them to do it if you have the block already.

pleaes flame me if i'm wrong but, you can't. It's has to be due to error in conversion from software to hardware..

Re: (2point2)
you can push more than the duty cylce based on the fuel pressure runnig to the rail
for example a 42lb injector running at 43.5 psi of pressure will flow about 42lb of fuel at given time at 100% duty the max the injector can push
however if you up the fuel pressure to 60psi now you will be able to make the injector flow more fuel approx 49lbs of fuel to the engine. There for you running the injector over its capacity.
most users however should only try to take the injector up to probably 85% duty at max running 100% is not a great idea things can go wrong in hurry.

Re: (2point2)
The duty cycle logged on an ecu is the amount of time the software is asking the injector to stay open. It's entirely possible to have a number bigger than 100%, but there would be no change in fuel output past 100%. If you have 15ms available to inject fuel, and the numbers in your fuel map = an 18ms pulsewidth, then you have over 100% duty cycle. Doesn't mean that it's actually happening that way.

i understand but why does tylor say: im running 102%duty cycle@xxpsi therefor i'm probbably making xxxhp? he could make a guessing but it doesnt make sence to me

well u can guestimate how much power ur making by how much fuel your effectively using. like say i am pushing a set of 340ccs at 90%, i am can assume i am making roughly 200whp

oh yeah anything above 100 is pointless, you can't open the injector longer than 100%
i can push 200% duty cycle, and it will still be 100% mechanically

I'm working on it - i'm working on it...........they cost $449 for a set. I'm pretty sure they'll be fine. Just got my eagle rods in last week - so.......it shouldn't be long at all.

Re: The monthly h22 MAHLE pistons thread.. (bubs)
i'll contribute the small amount of info i have.the shop that tunes my car has built a few B-series turbo engines using the Mahle pistons.all stock sleeves(i believe a couple were overbored to clean them up),with aftermarket rods(various brands).all the cars were using various levels of the Full-Race kits.on a Mustang dyno, the cars are making 350-450WHP(remember,that's on a Mustang dyno-lower ouput than a Dynojet)at various levels of boost,up to around 20psi.all of these cars are also street driven, and one is used heavily in HPDEs.none have had problems yet.that inludes the roadrace car which i looked at the datalogging on-oil and coolant temps skyrocketing over the course of a session, stil no problems.
i'm about to put a set in my car, with stock sleeves and some kind of aftermarket rods(not sure yet on which brand),and see how much power i can get.
i know some people above were talking about finding a supplier of the Mahle products-P1 sells their products, and Jack told me they have a good turnaround time on ordering pistons he doesn't have in stock.
