why is this in the forced induction forum?

Re: B16A mpg (boostmywankle)
my b16t eg6 got about 45-50 on the hwy at 70mph using an average of 9% throttle(apexi), in vaccume constantly and really slow acceleration.
Tested multiple times on same road. This was non intercooled t28 setup. Round trip was about 200 miles, 2 miles city
NOW its forced induction related!! lol
EDIT: listed wrong engine

sorry, that number was with a b16 turbo. it was before i changed to ls vtec. also one of my silicon hoses were pinched, not sure if it was helping my mpg(and hurting power) or not. Also it was tuned 12:1 on throttle and around 13-14:1 off throttle(no boost of course).
The b16t(right after one of those mpg trips) made 189 hp and 170(or close) tq. UNCORRECTED!!!(mile high city) very low boost and fell off bad at high rpm. the next day i ran 13.9s at pmi with no traction(2.5 60s lol)

Re: (1TurboHatch)
Um ok. if you looked at my specs and thought about things, you would see it is possible, and HAS been done. don't have that car anymore, now i have a b18 crx that gets avg of 35 city, weight 1730lbs wet. peak mpg over 60 miles was 63 mpg, i was cheating though, 20 miles car off coast, haha, elevation was 6k up to 11k then back to 8k.
If i still had it i would buy a data logger for fuel consumption. The car was slightly modified for aerodynamic improvements. The road is over 200 miles round trip, fuel at same station, very little city. i used to make the trip about once a week, the numbers don't lie. The difference from ***** footing it and going normally can be as much as 10 mpg over the trip. Not very hard to understand. the biggest key to getting high MPG is throttle control, stay at low throttle % and ALWAYS stay in vacuum, it also helps that i live at 5-6k elevation which means less air less fuel, and with a car like that you don't need much power to move it so throttle % is still low. Had my car been better made for power with a bigger turbo, no restrictions, and all i couldn't have gotten those numbers.
Edit
Want REAL high mpg; http://www.gassavers.org/garage/view/239 This saturn is getting 104 MPG using very simple tech, no black magic.
Here is a eg6 like mine(somewhat) getting 57 constant, http://www.gassavers.org/garage/view/154
Its all in the foot.
