h22 or b20
Hey i was wondering if i should do a h22 or b20 swap on my 99 civic. my brother blew my engine and i finally got the money i have been saving up for a complete swap. Just wanna know which one will give me more bang for my buck and be quicker out of thean estimate on how much they would cost roughly

You should be asking this in the all motor or the turbo forum. And you should never just ask which motor you should get. You should tell us what you want to get out of it (city/highway/track/road/quarter mile/etc). Describe what you want or your driving style.

oh haha sorry about that. i should probably have done more home work. i am looking for something leaning towords the track but it will have to also be my DD since i am student, it will have to also be CA legal!! I have access to an engine shop so block work or heads and that fun stuff is not a problem. pretty much what motor can handle work done to it and for top gain in power (Torque) thanks

Uhhhh b20 is in no way shape or form ca legal in a car chassis. It a cobsidered a light truck engine!!!!
As for track what does that mean? Circuit or quarter mile track?
If circuit id drop a b18c and didtch your thoughts.
If quarter mile id say h22. With a b16 or gsr transmission adapted to it.
