Hi all,

I am currently trying to fix a BHG in my 1993 Acura Legend. Long story short, one of my head bolts came out of the block along with all of the threads. I am trying to locate a reasonably priced used Time Sert Honda/Acura M11X1.5 head bolt thread repair kit (7111.) Any ideas as to where I could look?

Are there any places around Chicago that rent something like this? Does anyone know of a benevolent mechanic that would be willing to lend me the tools I need to complete this job? Does anyone have any alternate ideas of kits to use (please no HeliCoil) or places that can get the job done at a decent price (since all I really need is to fix the thread, I can take care of the rest...)

Any info or advice is appreciated!! I am desperate!
