Default Scatter Shields?

I am debating between the GE or Mazworx bolt on scatter shield or the Exospeed blanket.... Will the blanket meet all the rules that the tracks will require or will I need to get a 1/4" thick scatter shield like the rule books say?

The transmission blanket is actually made by DEIST Safety. Its SFI approved and meets the NHRA requirements. It does fit the D16 and B-series transmissions. I havent tried it on an H-series yet, but I hear it does fit as well.
* Deist has us stocking the blankets so its ready to ship out when needed, through us. We can Next Day them if needed so just let us know *

We're also finalizing the design for the engine diaper, so it can fit MOST setups.
We have the template for regular equal length style manifold ready with a decent size turbo, but we're just waiting for a motor we're doing so we can mock up the one with a Top mount setup.

Personally I'd like to run a pan like the one Joe made, but for most street guys who just need to put it on a diaper for the race, we're trying to get this going so there wont be any issues with clearance and material getting too hot.

GE's scattershield is garbage, don't get it. They say it installs in 15 mins, bullshit. I have to modify the expletive out of everything to make it fit.

I havent personally put blankets or scattershields in cars in a while, but I would think anything under the hood like that would take a bit of time to install.

if you need it for a B series the Mazworx shield looks good. If you need one for a K we have them.

I have the deist, it takes about 5 minutes to put on with a bunch of turbo crap in the way. Pretty easy.

the only con to the blanket is if you have any leaks it will get saturated and be very heavy... also if it gets wet with rain water the same will happen...

I had GE on both my b cars. It installed with no effort whatsoever. Now I use the Deist blanket on my wifed K motor and it is a little pain.

in regards to the GE

a) has anyone installed it on an H22?
b) how well does it fit around the slave cylinder area?
