Re: Ek SFWD never ending build.....
nice build and thanks for the heads up on kmod...I've contemplated dealing with them and you just gave me enough review for my decision! screw those guys for the sloppy work they did.

Re: Ek SFWD never ending build.....
There is more to the story... that is just a brief summary. lol I wouldnt use them if i was use. KMOD as a company might not be that bad (not saying they are good either) but the machine shop is a joke. Point blank a JOKE!

Re: Ek SFWD never ending build.....
that dash is sweet! i was thinkin of making one like that, do you have to do anything special when getting rid of the oem cluster or do you just leave everything unplugged and use the tach wire for rpm and wire the rest as normal??

These New inserts should do pretty good compared to what i had before lolz motor looked like it wanted to jump out under load.

Re: Ek SFWD never ending build.....
that is what i figured. build looks awesome man keep goin! i did the same thing late last season i went 2-3-2 lol, somehow i got lucky and only bent all 8 exhaust valves with no damage to the pistons. i still feel your pain tho, i only had like 20 passes on the build lol

As far as i know, i can just leave them unpluged and not effect anything. I will tap into the Blue Rpm signal wire on the pigtail for my new guage to work .

Re: Ek SFWD never ending build.....
Lol Its not really that many... some of the gauges require a constant 12v and a switched for the back lighting. The hardest part was getting around inside the car for the cage made it very difficult . I think my back still hurts........
If i have an arc8000 I would only had to run one wire to each component that i was powering vs power and grounds..... This setup was cheaper and the little extra work doesnt bother me .

My "WORK" turbo came in today. BWs467. Turbo has a little machine work nothing crazy. Ported shroud area, Ported exhaust housing , and Lightened Exhaust wheel .
I was able to test fit turbo on the car today before i had to leave for work. Should be able to put it on this weekend and mock up the new Exhaust pipe.
BEFORE port and Lightening
