Well Ive been talking it over with a friend here in town that works a crap load of majic with carbon fiber and hes really intrested in desiging a new one piece front for the civic and so on. Im just testing the market to see how many would think this is something worth doing.Let me know Ill have pics once its done as of right now its still on the drawing board.-pdang

Not that I am in need of one, but I think its a great idea. My carbon front is light and super tough...plus some new fresh designs would be welcome as well.

I'd rather have light\cheap CF hood and fenders...real race parts that are designed to be painted...and fit like stock...or maybe alittle wider

..and how about a CF one-piece crx/civic front end with a raised cowl..approximately 4"? So many people need cowls with their raised motors (for ideal axle angles), deck plates, and/or itb's. Wide slicks fitment a plus!

the hood is gonna be raised for sure as of right now im haveing issuses with my manifold hitting so im gonna give it a stretch and pull. Once the civic mold is made ill start drawing up designs for the crx mold. As far as the fenders and hoods go I really dont see a maket on my end for the hoods as its already diluted with huge aftermarket support, But I like the fender idea i had that one in my head for awhile. I guess well have to see how big the sport class gets. Ill keep youll updated.-pdang

aight guys Ive got some priliminary sketches for my fab guy. Also Ive talke to him about the fender idea and he really likes it. The front of course is the first to be complete I might get the picture of the sketches up tonight, also the sketches for the fenders. The way I see it you might have to modify the front bumper alittle to make the fender work but itll be well worth it. Any feed back at this point will be appreciated. The more input I get th better this will come out trying to get this done right the first time around. What size slicks would you guys like the over sized fender to fit I was thinking 26 in my head but its you guys out there that would have the better ideas maybe even 28s for street fenders.-pdang

I say try to make it look as stock as possible, only with bigger fenders. Just like the NHRA Pro Stock cars are, those front ends look OEM. Jus my 2 cents.

man im up for some carbon or even fiberglass fenders to slap on my car when i go to the track i need some wide fenders for my slicks i cant stand lifting my car up in the air to put the slicks on and 24s i eat them like nothing so i need a widen fender maybe to throw on when we go to the track let me know very interested if there in reason

Does anyone make a CF insert to replace the sunroof in a civic? Or any insert that is waterproof.

Hmm the only people I know that make a fiberglass unit is mb racing but I doubt its waterproof.-pdang
