Bringing back the crx...
Well this winter after talking to Geoff at Full-Race I got talked into doing another crx.... Not that hard considering I miss playing with everyone... So I decided that the Nscra true street class would be the place to be, since the rules closely resembles my old crx setup...
This time around I know exactly the direction I want to go and the people I want involved to help me. I figured with true street allowing 62mm turbo's to weight 2250 that a crx and Borg Warners new 62mm would be perfect.
Obviously Full-Race had me covered with the manifold and Traction bar set up.
Turbo Borgwarner 62mm S300SX 88/75 Curt and Geoff spec'ed this bad boy out.....
As far as engine goes . I wouldnt go with anyone but Jim Justice. After talking to Jim we ironed out a plan of attack . Gsr long block with gsr crank... Cp pistons, Manley rods, Ferrea Valve train. Darton Sleeves. Custom cams. The head porting will be in house At Justice Racing. We are trying a few things to see if we can make over 800 with 62mm... Dont know if we are over estimating, but we shall see...
Drive train is quite simple.... Melissa at Competion Clutch is on board with there Twin Disk , I have allways ran Comp and dont see any reason to change up a winning combo... Stock Gsr tranny with a Quaife... and Top secret spec Mfactory 1st gear provided by Mr Courtney Green. To get it all to the wheel's, Frank from Drive Shaft Shop recomended there 5.9 axle combo....Yeah they look sick...
Drivetrain update.... Stephen at Mfactory Competion Products has got my drivetrain covered with there syncro gearset, final drive handcuff, and differential. I am looking forward of to using their great products
Suspension Progress Drag coilovers They are great to work with and are open to do what ever you want as far as custom valving and spring rates....Energy suspension busings and oem honda bushings...
Engine Mangement... Javier at Hondata recomended the proven s300 with boost option. It's what I recomend to all my customers, and what I want to use for my own car...
Igniton.. MSD digital " fill in the blank"..... like you guy's thought I wouldnt be runing one...
Rob Gordon at Jdm car's hooked me up with a set of solid Avid Motor mount's.... Now I have to reinforce the crx, cause the mount's arent going to move, so I am sure the rest of the car will.
Data Aquistion is handled By Power Train Control Solution's... Work's flawless and will be all I need to dial this car in....
Tire's Mickey Thompson....of course......
BRE Fiberglass hood courtesy of Tex Blackwell
All of my welding and fabrication will be done by the one and only Mike Gerber at MachV Motorsport's. He is the same man that build Norris Prayoonto's new civic...
Last but not least I will be relying on Heavily as allways... Charlie Schafer for his expertise . Every car I have driven has had him working his magic......
Jeff Evan's of Evan's Tuning for all sort's of odds and ends....
Jame"s at IPG for numerous part's hook up's
If I have forgot anyone I appologise it's late and I am tired...I hate working on car's....lol
Here are some teaser's more to come as the build get's going....

Re: Bringing back the crx...
I still remember the old days when it was light blue with a B20 on nitrous then B16 turbo at Capitol, then something else... That was the only import that the Capitol boys didn't hate. Looking forward to seeing its progress.

Re: Bringing back the crx...
Wow I m surprised It took this long for u to even get another project up and running
I wouldn't expect anything but the best with what u have already lined up
good luck and can't wait to finally see it up and showing the new kids on the block how it's done
I m sure this is gonna spark a fire under a few og racers to come back out
Summer slam this weekend had a few og racers walkin the pits and racing again
vinny ten running a 350. Paisley walkin around the pits
