Viper Alarm install need help
Here are the things that I bought: For 97 Integra
Viper 211 Alarm
Battery Backup Module DEI 520T
Piezo siren
Glass Breakage DEI 506T
Tilt DEI 507M
I read the Cause for Alarm website over and over to get all of the info, but I still have a few questions.
Here is the wiring diagram
1. I wired up the backup battery and power to it and the alarm then I tapped into the Blue wire on the alarm and ran it to the Black/red unlock wire, and I can unlock it with the remote. Then I ran the green/black wire on alarm to the Black/white lock wire, but it wont lock when I press the button? I think the Green/Black wire is wrong, anyone know which one from the diagram I should use for the door lock?
2. I wired up the Piezo siren. I ran the red on the piezo to the brown on the alarm, and grounded the black on the piezo. When I hit the panic button should the piezo alarm go off?
3. Which wire on the alarm goes to the door trigger? And which wire on the alarm goes to the trunk trigger?
thanks in advance

1. The blue wire off the alarm has nothing to do with what the blue wire off the battery backup needs to be connected to...
The blue wire off the battery backup needs to go to the instant trigger on the alarm, which I just don't see.
Are you sure there's not another harness that's in another picture or something?
I don't see any trigger inputs on that alarm whatsoever.
In fact, now that I look at it, the Viper 211 is not an alarm. It's a keyless entry unit only.
2 & 3: See above.
Buy an alarm, then come back if you can't figure it out.

Im gonna go ahead and order that and sell the Viper 211 to a friend...

thanks for the help

Do not use the blue lead, [H1/2], you will use the H1/5 green/black for lock and the H1/8 blue/black for unlock, get rid of the H1/6 white/black and the H1/17 brown/black, they are not needed, ground both the H1/7 violet/black and H1/9 violet to cars chassis, same place you ground the main brain, [H1/11 black] 94

Violet and violet/black go to ground
Brown/black-white/black not used
Blue/black-green/black are now your neg output triggers.

ground the black/white 1 lead and connect the black/white to the cars door trigger lead, [also black/white].
If your car has a power trunk release then all you need is the relay, if not you need both the relay and a solenoid.
Either way, relay wiring is the same.
#30 and #85 need a fused 12V+, [hot at all times].
#86 red/white of Viper 211HV.
#87 to the solenoids pos.(+) or the cars red/white lead, [yes also red/white. 94

Re: Viper Alarm install need help
Hi fcm,
Should i directly connect the viper wire to my car wire for domelight supervision or Do i need any relay for domelight supervision to work.
Also, could you suggest any solenoid part number and relay # for remote trunk opener. I am searching my self and will let u know what i find.
Thanks,

Re: Viper Alarm install need help
Relay for dome light supervision is "built in" so another relay is not needed. 94

Re: Viper Alarm install need help
I have a question as well, how do aftermarket door locks wire in? 211hv. aftermarket actuators.
sounds like wires were detached from the ignition wiring.

Re: Viper Alarm install need help
H1/8 Blue/black to the blue wires of actuators.
H1/6 White/black to chassis ground.
H1/17 Brown/black to chassis ground.
H1/7 Violet/black to 12V+ constant, [hot at all times].
H1/9 Violet to 12V+ constant, [hot at all times].
You may have the reverse the green/black and blue/black leads to the actuators green and blue leads, it will depend on how, [direction] the actuators are installed, so do not make those connections until you know locks are unlocking when unlock is pressed and locking when lock is pressed. 94
