CD play problem
Hi
I have downloaded some music and burnt it to a CD as MP3, it plays fine in my stereo sytem ,on my PC , but it will not play in my car CD player , as anyone got any idea as to why or if I should convert it to something other than MP3 .

Winne,
Unless your car stereo is designed to handle MP3 format [ a form of music compression ] that CD will not play. Try burning a CD in CDA [original CD music] format. See if it will play that CD. Using the CDA format, you will probably only get about 20 songs on a CD. If the CDA disc plays, your stereo simply does not handle the MP3 format. If that CD does not play, the issue may be that the laser in your computer's CD burner has gotten weak. When this happens, often non computer CD players will not be able to read the CD. The only cure is to buy a new CD burner.
FYI, most CD burning software will convert MP3 files to the older, larger CDA format.
