Engine specs on flip out monitor?

What would be needed to have the engine specs on a flip out monitor?

Alot of units have a factory programed display (mostly useless) that looks like that but for people who are going F&F style, simply need an output from a carpc or laptop to the input for the screen....

That is a pioneer n2-n3. the pioneer series n and d series have it built in. And are pertty acurate off the bat. They also have this to add extra features to it or any aftermaket screen - avg-vdp1 by pioneer.
