alarm goes off at night
hi, when my alarm is armed it sometimes goes of for a split second followed by silence and then another split second noise randomly on some nights. I do not have to disarm it or anything, the lights do not come on, i just hear it and thats it. This is not an animal as it usually happens around the same time and it also has happened when I am in public. I dont recall hearing it during the day time though. It has never sounded off more than twice a night.
Everything else is still working, except sometimes when I arm the car the door does not lock. But it always unlocks if I manually lock the car.
I took it to the shop and they checked the grounds and it was fine they said. Where exactly is the ground so I can double check?
It is an Autopage Xt-33. I am very happy with the beep it makes when i do arm the car and it is not very sensitive much.
Oh yeah and my capacitor reads over 12 volts and 14-15 ish when the car is on
and ive had this alarm system for over a year

Re: alarm goes off at night
Most alarm systems have a recal function, usualy displayed by the LED flashing in a patern. Read your manual and see if it has this feature, see what "zone" is triggering.
