2004 Honda Accord Front Speaker suggestion?
I tried replacing the front speakers with a 6 1/2 2 way but the diameter of the cone was too large and I did not want to cut it. Any suggestions to a good replacement speaker?
Thanks!

</TD></TR></TABLE>I have yet to see a real good speaker that will fit without at least cutting out the back of the OEM speaker mount, that said, there are speakers that will fit withour cutting, what you have is one of the "new" oversized 6.5" speakers, what the car takes is a standard 6.5" speaker, and a slim one, now if the ones you are not too deep or the tweet does not stick out too far, you may be able to make a spacer, [out of MDF] that has the bigger mounting diam., and gives you enough depth reduction so you don't have to cut out the back of the housing 94
