I've seen a TON of excellent Maaco jobs. You chose a great color...can't wait to see it.

In to see some results...I've always wondered what a Maaco paint job would look like if you took the time to prep it.

The car looked real clean in the first pic... How much did you end up paying?

Hahahaha I love the whole work up until the end, where you don't recommend them to anyone. The pictures make it look pretty good.

The paint had runs on my driver door and my passenger side fender. the oversprayed on almost everything. the didnt wash the car before they painted so i have chunks of crap in the paint. In the rear quarter panel there is a damn hair in my paint WTF. The painted my exhaust blue and i was standing there staring at it and he asked me if i wanted him to black it out and i said you can do that you have time and he said ya so he went in the shop and grapped a can of black spray and painted my exhaust!!!!!

But you get what you pay for!!!

then i get my car back and it runs like crud well it turns out my ecu is shot so now shoppin for an ecu!

$420

go to a auto shop and get some 2000,2500 and 3000 grit sand paper and just wet sand alot of that **** out.

because its a single stage paint it shouldnt be that big of a deal.

keep us updated.

Damn, if it wasn't clearcoated I would say just get some 3000 grit sandpaper and wet sand. It's what they use for windshields I believe.

I kinda want to see it with all the stuff back on.

since he got the cheaper of the macco jobs it should just be a single stage, i.e. no clear.

i know he said with clear but i doubt he actually got it. but who knows.
