Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
You should get a 93 hahaha. I've only ever had a 91 CRX, 98 Accord ( but it was boomin with Rockford Fosgate lmao), and this 93 which is my favorite so far. I've always wanted one lol.
And now I have my dads 88 Chevy Silverado C1500 Shortbed Stepside that I've got to work on and fix up.
I also like and have had Jettas lol.

Thank you! And yes you can ask me chevy questions lol. Its extended cab. I love my civic and all but me truck is my baby. The civic drags the ground and Im fine, my truck scrapes and I feel it lol. Lots of blood, sweat n tears in that thing. It needs a dyno tune so bad tho.

Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
Well.. my trans finally decided to throw in the towel. Its been a champ taking a beating every day since I put the engine in. Sucks the gas saver will be down but I've been expecting it. It still drove but sounded like a coke can full of gravel inside of a blender.
Took a whole 55 min to drop the engine n trans. lol LOVE this gen civic. Anyway, went ahead n ordered an ACT streetlite flywheel for a steal brand new. That combined with the si trans and new clutch should be nice. I have a DX crank pulley, does anyone know if running the non dampening pulley is a bad idea? any info would be great

Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
yessir. My car is a DX so no power steering but I have ac. The ZC pulley on there now is meant for a car with ac/ps. The dx pulley isnt a dampener tho.. its just a stamped or cast part. It does weigh less than half of the ex one so if its not a bad thing Id like to run the dx one

Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
Thanks man, yea I've got some hours and busted knuckles in for sure lol. I installed an alarm on it within a week of getting it. Its got remote start and all, I need to get some actuators so I can hook up the keyless entry/power locks tho. I used the same alarm I installed on my truck so I can use one remote for both vehicles. Pretty fun being able to crank up my lt swapped/cammed chevy truck then my civic with three button pushes. its like waking them up lol. my neighbors dont like when I let my truck run tho haha

Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
I love my sound but had to keep a backseat for a car seat so I improvised a little..
Wired up some accent lighting and also did a dual e-fan conversion
took a few more pics of it after messing with the outlets a little..
well... I cant say I'm happy with it but I tried to wrap the console.. was having a really hard time stretching it even with a heat gun and an extra set of hands. the edges of it didnt come out like I wanted but it will have to do for now.. Ill post some pics but dont make too much fun of me lol...

Re: 95 DX Coupe slow daily
So like I said, my trans is dead.. I pulled it apart earlier to see how good a wrecked it lol. As far as I can see, the gears themselves seem ok but every bearing roars when you spin it, there is some kind of plate in there that wasnt attached to anything, the magnet had all kinds of flakes, chunks, etc.. While pulling the engine n trans out of the car I found some other carnage.. Somehow I broke my t- bracket.. never seen a stock single cam do that before.. oh and the ripped drivers mount.. pics of carnage..
