Default Will adding Toulene Xylene raise my octane?

I'm building a h23 vtec with 12.3/1 compression. I live in wisconsin so I am able to get 93 octane gas, but I would like to have some reinsurance that i won't have detination. while searching about octane boosters i found this page http://www.team.net/sol/tech/octane_b.html. I was wondering if I put Toulene or Xylene in to raise my octane?

Toulene is the most common, and it does work.

i usually mix xylene with my gas if i do mix anything. 1 gallon of xylene to 7-9 gallons of gas. some suggest using some marvel mystery oil as a lubricant for it. you would only need 1/4 quart of marvel mystery oil or so.
