I cant answer your question but I do know where you can find a brand new ITR tranny.
ICB motorsports has them listed on their website (jdmland.com)

There is also another shop I know of in Arizona that has a sister company in Japan that they import back and forth from.
It is called Kyoei-USA.com
I know they can get it direct from Japan.

getting parts from a japanese dealer is so difficult. give them whatevr they ask for it.
if i want a jdm itr trans for my SIR civic, i would have to produce the TITLE to a jdm ITR or they wont sell it. if i want bearings for my K24, i would have to produce the title for an RB1 Odyssey mini van.
this is why japanese honda enthusiasts all give each other copies of their titles with the names blacked out, just to shut the parts counter guys up. it has to do with theri ordering system. it requires a VIN to make sure the customer is getting the right part.
i told them, in japanese, the last time i was there for a ctr front lip "i am going to hang it on my wall. i have money, you have product, now lets make this happen."

Re: Where to order JDM OEM Parts from Japan Dealership?
assumption: buy all the parts @ Synchrotech ( Gear-speed ) Transmission
Master Rebuild Kit (all sleeves, synchros, seals, and bearings) - $795
JDM ITR 4.785 FD w/ JDM 1st - $440 (From Autodynamic)
Helica LSD - $650
= Total - $1885
Plus some gears might have worn out & I have to tear the tranny apart, so I might be better off just buying a new JDM ITR Tranny

Yeah, its more expensive to rebuild these transmissions than it is to buy a new one.
Although your prices are a little high, the final can be sourced through h-motors for under 400 and the rebuild kit seems to be higher than what I have seen.
Where are you getting the price for the rebuild kit?

Lol, the wholesale price for a new ITR tranny is $1857.90, part number 20011-P80-J41.
The MSRP is $2477.20.
Assuming you get the hook-up for the wholesale price, the difference between your rebuild price and new is $27.10. I think I will stick with my statement in post 5 and no you won't be better off.

Where are you getting the price for the rebuild kit?
Sleeve Sets 1-2, 3-4, 5-R
Brass Synchros: 1,2
Carbon Synchros: 3,4,5
Synchros Springs
All seals and Bearings ( except diff Bearings)
The reasons for changing all those wear items because I want them to be new while the tranny is apart. I do not want any issues further down the road and tear it apart again for other problems.
Here's the link for the master rebuild kit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Carbo...Q5fAccessories
But I would appreciate if anyone of you find any cheaper complete rebuild kit like that Thank you
