Default walbro 255lph fuel pump

i have a quick question. i was wondering if im using a stock integra fuel pump and the fuel pressure is like 50psi with vacuum off, if i install a walbro 255lph fuel pump in there will it bump up the fuel pressure or will it still be the same fuel pressure? if it bumps it up do anyone know approximately how much it bumps it up?

the pressure will stay at 50 psi because of the fuel pressure regulator

Thanks Captain Obvious.

In the real world, stock FPR's can be overwhelmed by a more powerful fuel pump, causing an unwanted rise in fuel rail pressure. Given that he's been a forum member for awhile, and asking about fuel pumps, I'm gonna go with the ASSumption that he knows what a fuel pressure regulator is. I think his question is whether or not the Walbro 255 lph has been known to cause this problem, given the stock regulator. I'd like to know too.

Fuel pressure can go up anywhere between 5-10psi due to the insufficient return size on the stock fpr's. I've also noticed that certain models like the VX models have even a smaller fuel return hose as well.

Mine went up 5-6psi, got a B&M, then got an AEM, then went back to stock fuel pump and fpr since I really didn't need it on my all motor setup.

Best thing is to get a gauge before you install the new pump and do a comparison.

i would get an adjustible regulator if you are going to use the 255
or if you don't want ot buy a regulator you can use the 190
but my advise is to get the 255 pump and a regulator incase you need to upgrade later
it is the best mod i ever did
