Are you sure those are the synchros you have? My stock 6b never fell out of vtec when shifting at rev limit, and that was with vtec set @ the stock 6k setting?

^in Smanager you can set it so VTEC only engages above a certain TPS %. Go to parameters, then VTEC and you'll see it.
