OEM wires Vs. NGK wires Vs. MSD wires
Ok did some little research. There seems to be some recent debates on which wires to use or run or which wire are the best. I've always been a believer in MSD. Here is some data:
Oem wires: http://www.tprmag.com/issue/4/oem.shtml
NGK wires: http://www.tprmag.com/issue/4/ngk.shtml
MSD wires: http://www.tprmag.com/issue/4/msd.shtml

I have heard of people with MSD wires popping off the dizzy. I have run NGK in my cars, and never had a problem. I don't know that wires are going to make a huge difference in power.

click on the dyno sheet part of the link to see the horsepower difference for the entire RPM range.
the NGK made a few horsepower throughout. the MSD seemed to make mostly top end power.
Looks to be a DOHC VTEC but it would have to have some crazy compression and cams to make those numbers. Anyone know the specs on the motor?

The motor is a first gen b16 with a DRAG turbo kit. Each plug wire set was given three runs and the best of the three is represented on the web site.

I ran msd wires on my 98' ITR and my friend ran them on his 94 prelude and they used to pop off our dist. all the time. We even ghetto ziptied and they still popped off in Vtec....NGK, or oem

how come magnecores website says wires dont make hp and whatever, they say they have tests, and then this site has tests showing that there is a difference

Re: (jt-sport)
I read something online where they dyno tested stock high-mileage wires on a B18 compared to brand new aftermarket ones (can't remember which ones) and the stockers still had the best power and the smoothest power curve. I'll stick with my stockers, then when I fel the need to splurge, I'll buy another set of stockers.

Re: OEM wires Vs. NGK wires Vs. MSD wires (EKCivicR)
i had a 94 integra rs and i used accel 8mm thundersport wires. they were descent and noticed a little difference in acceleration. i also felt the engine shooting off more potent sparks. they also never fell off the distributor.
