New toda Replica Header
So i got my new Toda Rep Header in yesterday. Special thanks to Chris at CR1 Motoro sports for hooking me up. So I have been having issue with my build thinking it was cams or something like that. Well jacked up the Integra and looked at the crappy setup I currently have for exhaust. So dc 4-2-1 header to a crappy weld job Pics Below. I pretty much think this is the issue with tuning my car with the Blox Type C cams lol.
Here is the new setup going on today.

Ah yeah I just saw your other thread. That exhaust is certainly choking the motor... IDK about 60whp though haha. When you put the header on I'd personally tune it open header just to make sure the cams and motor are ok. Then put the exhaust back on.
One of my buddies lost something like 30whp going from open header to a Apexi WS.

dammm, yeah I'm running the blox type c cams, they run fin till vtec, but I'm thinking this might be one of the problems plus pretty big exhaust leak. Still need to get some rdx injectors

Re: New toda Replica Header
When I was boosted I wouldn't build full boost w/ it on (built 12psi w/ a 1bar spring)...that's a bad sign. Open pipe it would peg 1bar (14.5psi) by 4200.
Open header/downpipe it was a totally different car.

Re: New toda Replica Header
yeah I had rc 440 injectors, bloc fpr and walbro 255. I dont think fuel was an issue to be honest. I sold the rc 440 and going to get the rdx 410

Alright I couldn't remember what you said you had. That should have been more than plenty. It's just doesn't make sense...exhaust won't be THAT drastic. I've seen some impressive builds on 60mm exhaust.

The Toda rep is very restrictive. It was choking my engine severely! I modified mines and have no issues now. Took that stupid pipe reducer and bend out and replaced the whole tail piece with 2.5" stainless.

My car was already tuned with jdm style DC 4-1 header. At the time that all that could be provided. But later I purchased the Toda rep thinking what you said about it being proven to make power. Upon install, went for a ride. My af went thru the roof with how rich it was. It was bogging thru the rpm range! Especially in the mid range. And a good bit on topend. Had to drive the car for several weeks until I got the pipe and everything situated. AF back around 12.9... I still stand behind what I did. It rips thru the rpms and feels a ton better. Going to be a bit before I get back to the dyno, but have plans to go back to see.

Take a close look at that flex joint on the inside. Some of those have mesh that collapses and will reduce the diameter down to a tiny opening. This will murder power on the high cam.

As I stated before, my af went retarded rich from just bolting this header on. Never seen a single modification make more power from making the current setup super "rich". Datalogs showed it being a lot richer throughout the rpm range. It definitely isn't a worthless mod to me.
Oh by the way, I'm so sorry I don't meet your requirements of data results besides what I could tell you of my datalogs. I'm sure you have had one of these headers before since you seem to know everything about it.
