Default J's racing header?

hey guys, i really like the j's racing products and was wondering if anybody has any luck with the j's header for the b series http://www.boomplustoys.net/jsracing_civic.shtml
yeah its almost 900 bucks but are you mainly buying a name or is it functional. also if anybody has it post pics

tho they might not be the best ones but a company with over 30 years parts in production and F1 victorys be bad????

is it the price thats scaring you?

no they just arent very good at all. the collectors are like 2 inches.

and you can get a rage/whitfield/hytech knockoff that will blow the mugen away...

saying they are "like" 2 inches, doesnt help.

I think what people are trying to convey here is that the expensive JDM headers do not perform as well as others in that price range. Mugen and J's don't "blow", but they don't provide performance that justifies their price tags when compared to offerings from custom builders such as SMSP.

just so you know i have the TODA and it rocks. i noticed a huge difference when i bolted it up.

yea and the toda header is far better than either of the other two mentioned. Some will argue that the toda header is the "best" header for a b16...

its the best off the shelf header money can buy. but if you really want the good stuff go SMSP or HyTech
