Re: best cams (13devils)
For B series, on the Higher end performance level Id say the best all around cam is the JUN 3
On a mid/mild performance level Id say CTR's or Skunk 1's
Thats just my opinion though

Re: best cams (cleanEG)
Lets see, we've got RS, crower, Jun, CTR/skunk2 stage 1s, and Ill throw in Toda As since thats what Im running....maybe you should look at all the specs and decide for yourself what cam you want to run. I guess ill give you a link to that since you cant find it or whatever.

S2S1 will most likely result in a faster car, IF you are running a stock CR motor.

Ahh i see, i just purchased some skunk 2 stage 2's for 500 but i still ahve stock cr. I may not get the power "yet" but for 500 brand new i think it was a good deal.
sorry for the thread jack but im also getting a thinner head gasket which will probably only bring me up 0.3 but with that little up in the compression will it help out the S2S2's at all?

not really, you gonna have to look into pistons
running sks2's on a stock sompression car is just be "overcamming" not only do you not "get" the power yet but it will also result in a loss also

RLZ stage 2's if you you have a mid/high compression, daily driver and are wanting the BEST midrange cams possible....and also if you want a lot of top end.
they are designed to be street cams...and they are AWESOME. As much, if not MORE, midrange than a toda b...and more top end than a JUN 3

Excellent. It appears the RLZ has dyno tested every possible camshaft, so we can just get them to post the results and we can settle this cam debate once and for all.
Seriously, what evidence do you have to claim any one cam is "better" than another. Any by "better" I am going to assume you are talking about power output, and not durability, wear resistance, mfr tolerancing, tunability, etc. At least display some understanding by saying what they are "best" in.
The word "best" and "better" should be sensored on all automotive boards IMO. The use of it displays lack of understanding and ignorance 99% of the time, IMO.
Alright, I'll get off my soapbox now.

the comparison to Toda B's were by word from H-T member Casey, he is running stage 2 RLZ's that replaced his toda spec B's.
I was also running them in my ITR swap and saw AWESOME gains.
and there were dyno's done against Jun 3's....with gains of 12whp mid range, and 4whp peak. the owner asked to not have dyno's released...but it was done on a stock JDM GSR. I know that's not much to go from...but it's a best as you got for now.
I just recent;y sold my stage 2's to another member, won't say names, but after they are installed you should see some dyno's
and i'll be runnign stage 3's soon...and will post dyno's from them in my build
btw, i don't work for RLZ...brad and howard and roger are just good friends...and they're helping me build my engine
