B-Series Roller Rocker Questions!
My motor recently let go and I'm in the process of doing a rebuild. I wanted to know what the pros and cons are of this setup. I will be driving this car on the street, but will not daily it. Maybe drive it 3 days a week if that.
My build:
84.5x87 Gsr
13.6:1 Compression
Fully ported/polished B16 head
OBX itbs (considering getting a Victor X)
Full Ferrea Valvetrain
Recently had Pro 2 cams, but one of the lobes scraped up and my builder told me that it was no good.
Just wanted some key insight, my goals are 240+ whp. I'll need advice on what cams would be best. I've been looking into the Ferrea/BC roller cam setups.

Re: B-Series Roller Rocker Questions!
I would recommend sticking with Honda Rockers as the roller setup will limit your camshaft choices.
I would also recommend switching out your LMA's for the H22 ones with the shims that go underneath. Old hydraulic LMA's that seize up are death on big aftermarket Vtec lobes.
Pro 2's are great cams for that setup. If you would like to give us a call at 951.808.9888 we can get you a single camshaft to replace the one you have a problem with, and can even do so at a discount.
Set up and tuned properly you should be able to hit your power goal.

If you do run the Honda rockers again, suggest you possibly look at an oil brand change. You're looking for oils with a high amount of zinc and phosphorus to protect against this type of wear.

You're going to want to run a zinc additive with that oil to compliment such large cams. Rotella is nothing special and is formulated to run with off the shelf and showroom floor motors...not custom builds. Brad Penn 10-40 plus 1/2qt of comp cams zinc would benefit you in the long run.

Have I missed all the dynos of camshaft dyno for Ferrea roller rocker setup? I have never seen any. If anybody has before/after please share.
