00 CRV: deployed airbags, seatbelts dead?

00 CRV: deployed airbags, seatbelts dead?
the airbags on my crv got deployed and i noticed the seatbelts dont work,
the driver side wouldnt retract and the passenger side wouldnt stretch...
i opened it up to see what's up, and it has small electrical motor inside.
so when i buy new airbags, do i also need to get new seatbelt motors?
its $260 each at the dealer, which i would rather not pay...can it be salvaged?

You need new seatbelt retractors. They pop and lock in place when in an accident. You'll need a new SRS control unit too.

seatbelts have a life time warranty from the factory, because they are a safety device. Just replace your airbag and take it in to honda. They should fix it no problem

The warranty is only for defects. If they are damaged in an accident they are your responsibility.
