Wanna buy civic SI from someone I know well, what is a fair price?
Hi guys, I have been lurking this forum board for a while, and now I might pull the trigger on a 2004 civic SI from a good friend this Christmas. I currently own an e55 but want the honda for that manual fun. I've known him since before he got the car, and it's been maintained incredibly well. I'm not sure what a fair price would be. The mileage is really high at 170,000, but no accidents, it comes with a escort 9500ix or whatever the top end one is, an Exedy stage 1 clutch and flywheel I helped him pick out, and two HD security cameras. The other good thing is that the first owner was his brother and maintained it as well as 8 other cars like a garage queen. Two downsides are he drives it pretty spirited 25% of the time, and he fills it up with 89 sometimes. Overall though it's a gem.
TL;DR: What's a fair price to pay for a no accident 2 owner 170k mile 2004 honda civic si?

Where do you live?
For example..I can find EP3's in the tri-state (NJ,NY,CT) for anywhere from $3-5K in good condition with those miles or less.
IN california i've seen ratted out, salvage title EP3's going for 6K or more with 200K+ miles

Prices really seam to vary depending on location, and of coarse there are always deals too. I live in Canada myself, found a deal. Got an ep3 loaded with many extra's, 110K for $1500
