Thinking of picking up an 03 RSX Type-S, front end damage?
I went and looked at an 03 RSX Type-S (90k mi for $8900) tonight while the car lot was closed. The body looked real clean, I didn't notice any orange peel anywhere.
One thing I did notice however is the passenger side headlights inner corner (towards the grille) was sticking out about 3/8" to 1/2" and the driver side headlights inner corner was about flush with the bumper. From other DC5's I've seen, both corners should stick out about 1/4".
This coupled with a scratch on the front bumper under the passenger side headlight (as can be seen in the pictures below), leads me to believe this car was in a small fender bender or parking lot bump, pushing the passenger side in and pulling the driver side out.
Both outer edges of the bumper (in the wheelwell) line up perfectly and evenly with the fender, as well as the bottom outer edges of the headlights.
Does anyone think there is potential for frame or bumper support damage and I should steer clear of this one or will this be a simple procedure to line the bumper back up properly and I should use this as a bargaining tool?
Thanks!

mine was like this too, till i swapped out the headlights with some black housing headlights which consists of removing the front bumper and when i had put everything back in place everything lined up right, maybe you should mess with the lining of the bumper or like DC5dsmrsx says its just normal no biggie

bring a floor jack and get the thing up in the air, look at the rad suport.....car fax just mean that there was no insurance claim for a crash. It does not catch repairs that are done out of pocket

im guessing its normal. Our rsx had the same problem. We have taken the bumper off to tow it, take the motor out (twice lol) so i havent even checked if it's fixed, but i always thought it was just an rsx thing.
Our old rsx had the same thing.
