Default RXS-S 02 Front end shaking under high load during acceleration

I have a shimmy from my front end when I am under high load from the engine, when I let off the gas the shimmy stops. I have checked all of the engine and tranny mounts and they are fine. The cv joints are solid and my tires are balanced and the alignment is also good, the shaking and shimmy only happens during acceleration with no sound difference just the shake and it is very noticeable and as soon as I let off the gas it stops shaking.

Any thoughts on what can make that happen?

check your motor mounts....guessing your front mount is toast and when you get on the gas, the motor shifts in its mount and you are feeling metal on metal.......like I said though, just a guess....

The tires are good no issues there, it only happens under hard acceleration and as soon as I let off the gas it stops right away. Motor mounts are good but I was reading that the either axle can have some give to it and that would make this happen as well..... any thoughts.

Thanks for all your help

it could be your axles although it is very uncommon in our cars....is the any leaking or anything near the axles?

Do the a2 motors have balance shafts, or just the a3 motors?

Also...the OEM axles do have rubber donuts on them to help reduce vibration, maybe one fell off or something? Just trying to think of ideas...

x2, when I first got my EP3, when I would gas it, the whole front would shake like crazy. Axles looked fine but decided to change them any way.

Changed it, and it was perfect.

That is what I have read and found online in regards to this issue, shaking like that under heavy load I's the axles. The original axles can have play in them over time so I will have them inspected for play or wear. Most likely I will swap them out. I am not going to put stock ones back in, any thoughts on after market ones? And where to get them I live in Oakville Ontario.

Thanks for all your feedback it helps out for sure, this shaking is driving me kookoo.

NAPA axles are fine in my opinion (if price is a factor)
