K20a3 head on a k24a4 block?
I have a k20a3 with a rod knock and just got a k24a4 complete engine. I was wondering if i could put on the k20a3 head to get rid of all the egr stuff? Or build a plate to block the egr stuff off. Also what about intake manifoilds? Can i run a K20a3 manifold on a k24a4 or a k20a2 manifold on either head? i need some help, thanks!

Hasport and a few other companies make egr plate block offs.
The a3 head is extremely low flowing. I wouldn't use it if I were you. I am pretty sure the k24a4 head flows way better than the a3....and if not, you can get a k24a1 head for cheap, which absolutely has better flow.
As for the IM... you should be able to run pretty much any k series IM you want...excpet a RBC one will require some cutting of the radiator support if you're in an ep3.
bottom line: don't use the a3 head. it sucks.

Re: (eloist2)
Do you know what other places do make one? Cause i contacted hasport today and they said they dont make one, so if you know anyone else that does it would be very helpful. Thanks again for your help.

apparently, the best solution is to use a RBC IM, But again, this will require some cutting to the ep3 rad support.
