Default If no HSC/NSX next year

If the next NSX does come out it better be pretty dang good...for me not to start saving for one of these:

But in left hand drive

Like this

With massive two piston brakes:

Mine in red

Or maybe black

Nah, red

And best of all, replacement clutches only cost $350.

Why do I respond to my own posts? B/c my family is watching "Spanglish" and I'm bored.

What the next NSX should look like:

Exige and Elise . Although I am a huge fan of the minimalist design, for me, the Lotus would have to be in addition to the NSX rather than a replacement. I do love how the Elises with sport package come with A048s and how they last longer than stock Bridgestones on my NSX.

However, in a few years, I would like to have one of these in my garage. Honda powwah!!! Strap on some goggles and drive it everywhere:

Holy cow!! Baby F-1 car!! I have seen the normal Atom but that thing is crazy! Is that some kind of upgrade package or is it all custom race stuff?

As a street car, the Exige and Elise are pretty crude. As a track car, they're awfully nice. However, if I were going to get a car to use ONLY as a track car, I think I might look into something like one of these...

Mmm...black elises, i saw one recently at the auto show in portland oregon, hot little car, but then it was sitting a few feet away from a mclaren f1, so the "cool" factor was totally killed...

Those 2 pictures are of a Ariel Atom race car (scroll down to Ariel Honda - A Great Team):

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Built on a production Atom chassis both cars are made to standard Atom specification including Honda engine and gearbox, fuel, exhaust, intake and steering systems coupled with standard Ariel options of aerodynamic package, adjustable dampers and competition brakes.</TD></TR></TABLE>
It goes on to say that the parts on the race-spec Atom are available to any Atom customer.

I think it’s the K20 from the not-available-here Civic Type-R. On the Atom, it has 220 HP is its stock form or you can have Ariel stick a supercharger on it for 300 HP. The Honda drivetrain should perform great and be quite reliable.

Couldn't find the pictures of the 800+hp, AWD, one with two turbocharged Hayabusa engines, it was sick

I'm not sure (even at my elevated driving skill-set) that I would be able to drive an 800hp Ultima well. A red or lime green Exige with black wheels and the ForceFed turbo is going to be quite enough. Oh and a nice set of slicks too.

Hope the NSX/HSC is a better car.

Theres a great video review done by Top Gear on the Exige. Its track time (which was recorded on a damp track) was one of the fastest ever tested by them. Pretty impressive when you consider the cars they haved tested...

You're kinda missing out on the whole light weight, no luxury, minimalistic idea of Colin Chapman's company.

I thought only Honda did that to make up for the lack of power

j/k, but seriously that would feel weird to pull up in a car like that and have to roll the window down like you were in an econo car or something.....either way its a sweet car
