Copyright infringement is against the law. Maybe you can go to the dealership and they can print a copy for you.

Agreed.
If you ask especially when buying parts they will copy the section/page you're looking for. I've had it done several times at my Chevy, Acura and Nissan dealership parts departments.

They have a license to make copies, similar to the license I have to make unlimited records of ADC mapping information.

Re: Online Service manual (George Knighton)
I don't understand why the link is censored. I own a paper copy of the Helms manual and I think I should be able to keep a digital copy in case a page rips or tears.
Maybe this is not my "legal" right, but I think it is not asking too much.

There is a common sense personal use exemption.
However, the public posting of copyrighted information does not fall under that exemption. If you have copied copyrighted information for private use, then it needs to stay private.
If you are ever seen to be charging for your copies of copyrighted information then you open yourself up to tort action because you will be seen to have reduced the value of the copyrighted information through public dissemination.
Clearly, Helms and Honda are huge organisations which (or "who" in some states) make most of the money off of copyrighted information by selling to other organisations. They could argue, however, that if the information becomes so widely available that they can no longer get the full value for the information, they are substantially, verifiably and definably damaged and would therefore have recourse in the law.
