Default Force limp mode ; How to?

I'm currently having some problems with my R. I'm having problems with it studdering when getting warm. I've tested just about everything to no avail.

In that regard I was thinking to run my R in "limp mode" just to see how the car runs.

As far as I know when the ECU runs in limp mode all censors are disables, right?? So it just runs on default parameters?

So if the car still studders when in limp mode I know the error isn't a electrical/censor problem.

But what is the best way to force the ECU to go into limp mode? Will pulling out some connectors, like i.e. o2 censor, do the trick?

I think if you unplug both o2 sensors, that will get you in limp mode. I'm trying to remember....when I bought my car from Len, one of the o2's was bad and it caused the car to run differently than normal. I think it was the o2 that plugs into the catalytic converter. Try that I guess.

Primary o2 may send it into limp mode but secondary will not.

< Knows cause he hasn't had the secondary plugged in for a couple years

I have an Euro R. I only have one o2 sensor. I'll try disconnecting it...

Any other suggestions?

when distributor rotor went bad, i could rev past certain rpm so it was in limp mode and was running hot

Just drain your oil, that will put you in limp mode

When in limp mode all sensors are not disabled. Doing what your trying is not gonna get you anywhere. If your car is not throwing a code then more than likely the sensors are fine. I would have to say dizzy related.

Think of Queen Latifa naked. That will force you to stay in limp mode.
