battery problem, suggestions?
Here's the story, this morning, my battery just decided to die all of sudden, couldn't get any juice out of it, I didn't add any new stereo or changed anything either. So i had it jumped. Once it started everything was fine. Took it for a drive and didn't touch it until 10 hours later. Again, couldn't start it, had to get another jump. After the car warmed up and 15 minutes of freeway driving, i exited for some Jack in the box drivethru, as soon as i stopped the car, the idle would drop all the way down to 500rpm or so and just dies and from there I can't start the car again. The stereo now works, so i know the alternator charged some life into the battery, so i had it jumped again, and as soon as i let off the throttle, the rpm goes down low and dies again. I then turned on the heater to get the idle rpm up and was fine from there. What could this be? dying battery?

test the alternator. sounds like it's more responsible (ie, the car SHOULD run off the alternator when it's running)

it's a dying battery....
to be sure go to advanced auto and ask them to test the alternator and batt.
i had that same problem in my other car, i thought it was the alternator at first, but just got a new batt. and the problem was solved.

sounds like the battery...if you car is still under warranty..you can take it back to the dealer and they'll paid for part of the battery.
