I was wondering what most people prefer using in their DC2's...i have seen the other threads on honda-tech but it seems like people without ps prefer 350 and ppl with ps prefer 330...im gonna keep my power steering, and was wondering what most dc2 owners with power steering prefer using, also how well can you see your spedometer/tach...etc with your 330 or 350...any pics or feedback would be greatly appreciated

I had a 350mm Momo Corse and I could still see everything just fine. I had my steering adjusted down to the lowest setting.

thanks for the quick replies...does anyone have the momo mod 8 suede steering wheel, or does anyone have any experiences with the "deep" kinda steering wheels...i think i like this wheel right here...thanks to all for the replies, if you have more advice/suggestions/pics it would be appreciated

I've had two 350's and now i run a Momo 320. The 320 actually blocks my cluster-mounted gauges a little bit, however, the tighter turning radius is wonderful at the track

If you ever opt to use a detatchable setup, this deeper wheel may be uncomfortably close to your chest. Which wouldn't be a good idea in a collision.

Also take into consideration of where this wheel will put your hands in regards to the controls. As an example the OEM wheel is at a distance from the turn signal and windshield wiper controls that allows you to use them without removing your hand from the wheel. From my experience, using an adapter and a detatchable hub, moved the wheel just far enough away that I had to take a hand off the wheel to use those controls. I'm sure it's not a big issue for most. Just thought it was a bit interesting at the time.

yeah...i definately dont like the steering wheel to close to my chest...i thought the short hub usually puts "regular" aftermarket steering wheels in almost the stock location, i know the "deeper" steering wheels would be a little further back (probably 2 inches) im guessing...but i know i dont want anything really close to my chest, or for me to have to slide my seat too far back to be comfortable...does anyone have a deep type of steering wheel (momo mod 8/nardi deep corn) that would like to comment

I m using momo team 280mm, it takes a bit to get used to, but once you get used to it, i love it. I have PS.

330 OMP Quadro with 60mm steering wheel extender - no power steering

I like the OMP wheels cause they're FAT and MEATY

Extenders/deep dish allow you to position the seat far enough away for easy heel/toe shifting while keeping your arms in a relaxed position.

You get used to the windshield wipers and turn signal controls being far away....

i had a 320mm Momo Race on my SC MR2 couple of years back, then my friend bought a 320mm Momo Race for his '97R, and now i have a 350mm JDM ITR non SRS Momo on my '97R.

out of all 3 of them, i like the 350mm the best hands down. the quickness afforded by the 320mm is offsetted by it blocking off parts of the cluster and its game-like feel.

i agree with Big Phat R, having an extended hub is a good idea especially if you're taller (i'm 6'1) - the bottom of the column comes in contact with my knees when i heel and toe. if you guys haven't noticed most pro racers have their steering wheel close to their chest because it simply requires less effort to turn; it makes a big difference especially if your hands are going to be on 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock (or 9 and 3 o'clock, whatever your preference) for extended periods of time.

you'll need a Honda steering wheel boss - there is just one big nut to remove the steering wheel.

Use a piece of black electrical tape to cover the SRS light if it bothers you that much

i think theres a write up on team-integra.net on how to get rid of the srs light...i havent been there in a while but i think i had seen somethin like that on that site

I use the 300 mm momo team wheel on my EG, definately good for the track, but i'd say my 350 mm JDM ITR non SRS wheel is way better for daily driving.

does anyone have a particular preference over suede or leather...i personally like the suede better, but i don't know any pros or cons compared to the leather...i just like the feel of the suede better

i'd run a suede wheel for the track cause i'd wearing gloves. otherwise for the street i'd stick to leather cause suede turns all nasty when [hand] sweat comes in touch with it

take the cluster out, remove the bulb or just unplug it.

oh yea, btw i prefer the 350 wheels to any other, but i think this should be decided upon by the driver, its all personal preference, what feels better for you.

i just got the nardi deep corn 330mm and it a little to small.i got it cause it is hard to get out of the car with jdm recaros ,but duh i got qiuck release.that being said 350 is the way to go!!!

350mm in my R. had a 330mm and it cut off the top of my gauges and some warming lights, didnt care for that.

if you unplug that clip you lose your abs light also. just take apart the cluster and remove the bulb, if you don't plan on putting any of the srs stuff back in.

Thats in my eg. Excuse the second pic that was after thieves stole my recaro's. If you do decide to go with the smaller wheel you will get used to it and once you drive someone else's car you will think the steering wheel is as big as a school buses.
