Will SRS light come off if you removed the SRS ecu???

Will SRS light come off if you removed the SRS ecu???
Try to searching and everything but all i have founded is people bickering back and forth.
Question: Does anyone know that if you remove the SRS ECU on a 94 GSR, will the SRS light come off?
I know a lot of people say take out the light bulb, but I have a 98 Type R cluster and the SRS light and ABS like are connected on the same connector and the light bulb does not come out. So does anyone have a idea to take this damn light off.
