I read that a header can alter your smog status. Is this true? How many of you out there passed smog with a DC header with flying colors?

When I had my DC 4-2-1 stainless a long time ago on my LS, it passed no problems. It shouldn't affect anything, only affects the efficiency of the exhaust flow. Nothing with the emissions is altered.

If you're in cali, to pass smog it must be stock or have a CARB EO.
Outside of cali, do they really care as long as you pass the sniffer?

Most dc items are CARB approved so that is most likely is not a problem.
