Tires. Will this work or will I have problems?????????????????????????/
Alright, I just bought 2 toyo proxes 205/45/16. I need another two, I'm thinking about getting 2 kumho ecsta supra 712 205/45/16. Is it ok even though there from two different manufacturers. Or should I get 2 toyo proxes. Thanks

Well, if you don't care about how your car drives, then I say "do it." I wouldn't and here's why: Each tire manufacturer makes their tires all differently, so even if they are the same size, the tread pattern, side-wall stiffness, etc. will be different. It's like wearing 2 different shoes - Even if they're the same size, won't it feel different?

I would just get 2 more of the toyo proxes so that the grip/handling of the tires match.. otherwise (other than suspension and weight distribution/handling differences between front and rear).. your going to have 2 different makes/brands/lines of tires w/ 2 different handling characteristics..
