Should i go b18 or b20b?
Need a replacement motor for my engine , just got my car , but havent decided which way to go. First question if i do go b20b , which parts for which car fit it ? Like will a intake manifold designated for a LS motor fit it? when i order a header will a LS header fit? Will cams made for the LS motor fit in a b20 head? this is a list of parts i plan ordering as soon as i know what motor i want
b16 tranny
Exedy street clutch
Aem CAI
DC 4-2-1 header
Custom 2 1/4 inch piping mated with Apexi N1 muffler
catco high flo cat
Blox IM ( will one made for a b20 fit a b18a/b
BBK throttle body
Skunk2 stage 1 cams with springs ( if made for a LS motor will these fit a b20b)
Arias 9:2.1 or 9:6.1 ( if i go b20b to bump CR)
Zex 55 shot ( for track racing)
This will be DD, so thats about the extent of the mods i will do, plus im not trying to build a Monster , but a moderatley fast street car.
With the mods Listed what do you think will be the faster motor in a 90 teg, the b20b or the LS motor. Will the mods listed and using a b16 tranny would it likely be a 14 second street car off the bottle? would either motor be a better choice than a b16 engine?

forgot to add what kind of wheel HP figures would i be looking at , i know the LS motor dynos about 120ish stock, and the b20b about 110ish stock. I was figuring about 155-165ish whp for the LS motor , about 205-210 whp on the bottle, and about 145-150 whp for the b20b and about 200 whp on the bottle, am i far off?
