shifting problems, maybe the transmission
I have an automatic transmission, i think i have shifting problems. everytime i feel the car shift sometimes it revs up to 5000 or 6000 rpm if i keep giving it gas or if take my foot off the gas the rpm comes back down. or sometimes when it shifts it feels strange like is noisy or it bounces back. ne thoughts!!

got the same problem bro ...figure it out yet? cuz i dont noe ...everyone is tellin me it can be the tranny...or other stuff..

from the symptoms you describe it sounds like it could possibly be a bad forward clutch. does it have the same symptom in reverse? if so it could be a combination of the forward clutch and something to the extent of a 1st/reverse clutch and maybe a band (not too familiar with this particular tranny) other than that you may just have some malfunctioning servos if its an electronic trans. also in the valve body you could have a sticking spool valve or a clogged fluid passage. good luck
