Default LsV Solenoid Generation Question

So I have been in the process of LsV swap in my Dc4 RS. I have a complete b16 head ready to go, just waiting on a new conversion/sandwich plate. I am already starting to wire and hook everything up so that it will be ready to go, but I ran into a problem with the vtec solenoid.

I have a vtec subharness, and the plug on the subharness doesn't plug into the vtec solenoid plug. I think its because the solenoid is obd0, where the harness is obd1 (I ordered the harness with lsv b18b1 with b16 head specifications). The pressure plug works fine which kinda boggles my mind. So the question is, why doesn't the solenoid harness plug into the vtec solenoid?

How can I fix it, if I'm no professional at electrical wiring, and don't have the money to buy a new vtec solenoid (if its obd0)?

Take a picture of it, you can buy a plug that would fit it and just wire it in. Fairly simple.

Sorry, just realized I was kind of vague about the description

It is a dark yellow color, and the inside is divided into 2 squares (whereas the plug is rectangular). Only one wire goes into the plug.
The subharness plug I have is grey. Don't remember the insides of the harness, but I know that it doesn't even remotely connect to the solenloid

I very nervously disconnected the solenoid plug a few minutes ago to get that picture. I thought for sure I was going to break something. I will be ordering a new plug to put on the wire, but I just want to make sure that I need an obd1, and that I already have an obd0

If you don't want to cut and solder, just pull the pin out and stick it into the solenoid connector.

Thats what I was kind of wondering. I have no electrical wiring experience, so I don't want to have to cut into or fuse wires together.

It doesn't appear that doing that will keep the wires contacted, it seems the solenoid wire would kinda just sit freely within the plug
