I didn't cut the brackets off. If I can remember correctly, it sat fine or close to flush. I had people sit in the back and they didn't complain. It's been like 3 years since I had the car.

But this is your cushion part. The backrest should fit without any problems.

If you are really ****, you can cut the brackets off or trade for USDM ITR rear cushions (although you might not like the tray).</TD></TR></TABLE>
not just the tray, the ITR seats are Suade and have red stiching, i'll just get an LS seat mount bracket, they have the seat mounts closer together i think.

I still say keep trying. They should fit without any problems and should not require any type of modification. Then again, if you have any pics that would help too.

You know...I remember hearing the same. If that is true, then I guess the jdm rears I got were from similar chassis and year(s). And, that would explain why the OP is having such a hard time trying to make his set fit.....

I don't think there is a specific "seat bracket" you can get. Though...if it is possible for you to "remove" the alcantra skin of the seat and transplant it over to your stock seats your car came with........that may work better than going out to "buy" something you may not need.

This might not work because of the tray

Re: ITR rear seat fitment in a 99 GSR.... (JDM DC4 Jesse)
this is very simple.....94-97 integra have no reenforcement bar that goes from one side of the car to the other!!!
You can put your type-r seats witch are from a 96-97 type-r and put them in your 99- up integra by removing that reenforcement....but I dont recomend it!! Get seats from 98- up type-r

I got a olders Rs and installed my 01 usdm ITR in my car, top fit fine but bottom wasn't secure. like.... if it wasn't for the seat belts coming through the hole, peoplecan just pull my bench out. I hear this happends to alot of people.
