Default itr cat vs. 95 gsr cat

I ran a search - but unfortunately did not come up with the exact answer I'm looking for -

i understand that the gain wouldn't be that great switching, apparently the itr cat only flows 2.5% better - is this correct?

secondly, the O2 sensor sits after the cat in the itr, and before the cat in my gsr, wouldn't this cause a problem for my ecu?

Has anyone put a ITR cat and cat back on their OBD1 gsr and seen gains? Thanks for the help...

Regards,

your correct, the gain is like 2.4%. Not worth it! Besides a 95 GSR has a shorter cat so it would not fit! 00-01 GSR's have a longer cat the same as the iTR's and 94-01 LS's. You can buy a Carsound cat for only $165

cat flows
GSR 218 cfm
ITR 223 cfm
carsound 2.25" 340 cfm
test pipe 2.25" 407 cfm
