Default Crazy AC problems

Car is 99 teg with 95 ls 5spd obd1 ecu in her.

First off I fixed the leak in my AC line with jb weld, so no more leaks... However when charging it up we had lots of problems.

First the AC switch in the car apparently does not engage the clutch or even put the condensor fan on.

We started the car, put AC on full blast and emptied the first bottle, at this point we realized the AC clutch wasn't engaging... So we Ran a wire from the clutch engaging line to the battery with the car off to hear if it was working... it was.

Next we connected the clutch AC thing to the battery then started the car and proceeded to the second bottle of refrigerent....

This is where the **** happened, in the middle of the compressor running it started making a LOUD brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise and smoke started coming from it, we immediatly shut down the car and took the power away from the compressor. So no we took the bottle of oil and started the car (no ac engaged) and leaked that into the system.... then tried re-engaging the clutch and it would shoot the idle down REAL low... and eventually it started making that noise again and smoking a bit.

That was some scary ****.. I dunno what to do or what the problem is, there is no troubleshooting in the helms for "occasional loud noise and smokey compressor"

NOTE: The condensor or radiator fans never came on during the breif periods the car was running, however it was sitting overnight and I assume at least why the radiator fan never came on because the car never even idled for more then a few minutes total.

my opinion is the bearings in your compressor went bad thus the metal to metal screech and smoke.

sounds like you smoked your ac Compressor, when you evacuted the ac (R134a)refriegdrent and recharged it, did you put any pag/ester oil in in the process. If not, you have smoked the bearings, if so did you applied any vacum after you evacuated your system to take any moisture and debree. Have your put in the right refregdrent?

you over filled the ac system. usually the cans to refill the ac system already contains the oil that is needed. release some of the freon out of the high side slowly, then check your fuse of the ac switch/or check the switch itself. but i dont think its really smoke thats coming out its the freon being blown out the seals of the compressor...happend to me.. but it was mainly cuz i over filled it

Alright I did some more testing on things because I noticed my radiator fan does not come on, along with the AC clutch/condensor fan not engagin ever even with AC on.

I tested the AC clutch manually by giving it 12v power and it worked
I tested the Condensor fan by giving it 12v power and it worked
I tested the Radiator fan by giving it 12v power and it worked

I dunno how to test the relays but I dont thing that is my problem for this reason..

When I tested voltage between No 1. connector on the radiator fan to body ground I got 0 voltage, with the car off, on, and on and running... in otherwords the power line part of the relays seems to be getting 0 juice to them. I am going to assume that all three of these things are getting no voltage to them.

Any more input? or have I narrowed it down to the fuse/relay box being bad. (btw all fuses are ok, just seems to be the relay connectors thus far)
