cracked/peeling paint on rear bumper...suggestions
The paint on my rear bumper appears to have cracked, lines appear in a spider-web like fashion (like someone took a bat to a window) and where there are deep curves in the bumper, the paint has started to peel and crack off.
Is there a way to repair this without repainting the entire bumper?
And if I do need to take the bumper off to get it repainted, about how much would it cost for a good paint job and how long does it usually take?
Being a college student living away from home my teg is my only form of transportation...so I can't get around LA at all without my car.
Is it possible for paint shops to just take off my bumper and have them do the work with it while i use the car?
Thanks

You have to repaint it. A paint shop may charge you approximately 250. Yes you can take off the bumper and drop it off for them to paint, just give them your color code. It may take 1/2 a week to finish. You can also buy some rattle can touch up paint and do it yourself, but you will need some level of skill.

Don't paint it till you get out of college cause it'll get hit again.
