Clunking metal sound inside of rim/tire?
about a week ago i bought some used rotas and i noticed one of them has something loose inside. I have no idea what it is. When i roll the rim/tire i can hear the object move inside and when i bounce the rim i can hear a metal clunking sound. My guess is a tire shop left something in there causing this sound that i have? Please help what should i do?

best bet would be to change the rim with the spare tire for a minute and drive around and see if you still hear the noise..this will help you tell for sure if the noise was coming from the rim or not...basically after you swap the rim and it doesnt make noise then you know the problem was something with the rim...if it still makes the noise then you know it wasnt the rim...try that out first to help you diagnose.

ok...then its possible that there could be a peice of metal inside the tire? sounds crazy but im sure it could happen...or maybe the balancing weight is loose? just my 02 cents

But that's just one example of something that may have found it's way inside if someone screwed up.
