MIght have to heat up the glue and cut it out with a big razor tool, but iv watched the guys in the junk yard install a new windsheild they just used razors to cut it out and you can use a pry bar to help get it started.

I'm sure he has, but when you're doing serious work on a car, it's a hell of a lot easier with the windshield out...
#cagelife and whatnot... I still have some welding material stuck to my windshield because race car.
Can't offer much help... If it were me, I'd break it out and then have the windshield guy (or lexan?) come and reinstall at once. Alternatively, check the service manual. It *might* actually cover this. I believe it's pretty detailed.

Every article I see everyone worries about the slips which is fine if you want the OE one etc or it's highly recommended to leave it to professionals
Tempered glass will splinter crack at the very slightest prying in my experience, yah so sort of utility knife i'm assuming i'll have do that from the outside.
We may have one in our town, i'm a little nervous letting ppl in my garage tho I wouldn't be able to be there that's why. But yah just to remove it that's my main concern now.
I've broken windows in that garage before the car had to be dragged out to clean it up, i'm going to be under the car a fair bit last thing I need is glass slivers. I have to be extremely carful in that garage, it's more demotivating for me to have a smashed window which was the downfall of the last car.

the amount of glass that gets thrown everywhere is insane i'm not doing that, I took all the trim off to see but it has to be done from the outside.
